IT’S OFFICIAL: Wyclef Jean To Run For President Of Haiti!

Rumors have been swirling, as Wyclef Jean has neither confirmed or denied. However, a rep for the Haitian born rapper says that ‘Clef will in fact be running for President of Haiti in this year’s election. The exclusive announcement will be made this coming Thursday night on CNN’s Larry King Live.

This should come as a shock to no one. Wyclef has been a hardbody crusader for haiti since day one. He’s been an outspoken champion for Haiti, and was amongst the first to go IN when Haiti suffered their devastating earthquake earlier this year.

Daughter Says Laurence Fishburne Is Not Pleased w/Porn Decision.

“[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he’s mad at me but I haven’t spoken to him yet,” Montana Fishburne, 19, told TMZ.com, adding that her famous father is “very hurt” over her decision to star in an X-rated flick. But Montana – aka “Chippy D” – thinks she’ll be able to work her way back into daddy’s good graces. “I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him.” Montana even thinks her dad might eventually get behind her new career move. REALLY!? “I think he wants to support me in everything I do,” she said, “and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive.” UH-HUH.

Although Montana told TMZ she didn’t warn her dad about her steamy career move, she said she plans to meet with him soon to explain her motives. “I’ve watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape,” Montana said in a press release from Vivid Entertainment. “I’m hoping the same magic will work for me. I’m impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it.”

Still, Montana’s porn pursuit doesn’t seem like something that would make her pop proud. “The first time is really nerve racking, but I have a lot of at-home experience. I know what I do and I do it well,” she added.

Montana’s sex tape will be released by Vivid Entertainment on August 18.

IRS Rolled Up In Young Buck’s House For 300k Tax Debt.

According to Young Buck’s rep, IRS agents rolled up to the platinum-selling rapper’s house in Nashville this morning to go on a repossession rampage over the alleged tax debt, seizing assets like recording equipment, jewelry, furniture, his platinum wall plaques … and even his kids’ PlayStation. WHOA! The rep tells us, the feds in question were packing heat – in the form of a shotgun – and warned Buck not to interfere with the raid.

As for how he fell so far behind in debt, the former G-Unit member tells us, “This IRS situation came about because I trusted accountants, lawyers, and managers to handle my business for me while I focused on making music. From now on, I am going to stay on top of my own business.”

Ice-T’s “Revenge” Lawsuit.

Ice-T said he will file a lawsuit over his July 20 arrest in New York City for driving with a suspended license and without a seat belt. But he is not planning to sue the NYPD. “At the end of the day, after I get this dismissed … I either can sue the DMV or the insurance company,” Ice-T said. “And that’s when I have my revenge.”

Ice, aka Tracy Marrow, said that in addition to the suspended license, the arresting officer found “something in the computer called an insurance lapse from 2008.” He claimed the reading was the result of an error on the part of either the DMVor his auto insurance company. The arrest turned confrontational, with Ice-T asking the officer, “If you disrespect me, why can’t I disrespect you?” before unleashing a torrent of profanity. Ice-T claimed the officer arrested him rather than simply issuing a ticket “because he could.”

Ice was handcuffed, fingerprinted, and spent nearly three hours at the 10th Precinct in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan before he was released.

Beanie Sigel Taking More Shots At Jay-Z.

As much as I would LOVE to see Jigga respond- not gonna happen. Like it or not, Jay-Z has solidified his place in Hip-Hop history which means to engage in a “war of words” would be unnecessary. Is he scared? Who knows. Eitherway, Beanie Sigel ain’t letting up. He’s mad as hell & not gonna take it anymore. Can’t say that I blame him. I’d want to air out my grievances as well. Just one question: to all those who are consumed with hating the Jigga Man; what will YOU gain? He’s still gonna be a historic figure in our culture, sitting on multi-millions, while y’all do what!?
