Well, It’s a final wrap for golf genius Tiger Woods & wife Elin Nordegren. Their marriage has reached an end, Legally! “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” they said in a statement released by Nordegren’s law firm, McGuireWoods. “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”

While the details of the split have not been revealed, the statement asserted that the couple’s children, Sam Alexis, 3, and Charlie Axel, 1, will remain their primary focus. “Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being,” the statement said. “The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”

Fantasia Barrino: “I Just Wanted OUT!”

I didn’t believe it. Initially I didn’t want to believe that Fantasia Barrino was really attempting suicide. I thought it was truly an accidental overdose, obviously I was wrong. According to Fantasia, she knew EXACTLY what she was doing when she went into a closet & ingested a whole bottle of pills into her system.

Depressed about he circus drama concerning she, her married lover & his scorn wife, ‘Tasia said she’d had enough! “I didn’t have any fight in me. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted out. At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that [expletive]. I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle. I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can’t accidentally take a whole bottle of pills.”

Well, when she puts it THAT way, I guess it wasn’t an accident.

Dr. “Quack” Murray Wants M.J.’s Fluid Samples.

Word on the Blok is that Dr. Conrad “Quack” Murray wants fluid samples from the late Michael Jackson. (smh) Murray’s lawyers want to re-test some of the fluids to determine the accuracy level of the Propofol found in M.J.’s body. According to the LA County Coroner’s report Jackson died of acute Propofol intoxication. The Coroner has fluid samples and we’re told they’ve been preserved.

Respected African-American Journalist, Harold Dow, Dies At 62.

Respected African-American journalist, Harold Dow, who lately has been a fixture on the CBS show “48 Hours,” has passed away. Harold was 62. While there has been no official determination on his cause of death, it was reported that he had been diagnosed with adult onset asthma, and further, it was reported that Dow was hospitalized last week for treatment of what a family spokesman called severe asthma symptoms. Bolstering the suspicion that Harold Dow’s cause of death may be asthma related are reports that an inhaler was found on the floor of Dow’s vehicle.

Harold Dow had been a correspondent for “48 Hours” since 1990 and had also reported for the “CBS Evening News with Dan Rather” and “CBS News Sunday Morning.” He who worked for CBS for 38 years, retiring from the network just a few weeks ago. Dow won five Emmys for his work. He also won a Peabody Award for a “48 Hours” report on runaways. His body of work included coverage of the movement of American troops into Bosnia in 1996 and the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland.

Dow died on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010. Dow is survived by his wife, Kathy Dow. They had three children together: Danica, Joelle, David .
