T.I. Had X-TRA “Goodies” Besides Weed & E-Pills.

Rapper T.I. could end up back in jail because of the extra probation violations.

T.I. is back in the feds’ crosshairs with new allegations he had more than Ecstasy when he was busted earlier this month. Dude had codeine and marijuana and tested positive for opiates, according to a petition signed by his probation officer. On probation from a gun-possession case that landed him in federal lockup for seven months, T.I. could end up back in jail because of the extra violations.
“We are very disappointed in Mr. Harris’ recent conduct. We will make our sentencing recommendation at the (probation) revocation hearing,” U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said Friday.

A federal judge has ordered T.I. to appear in ATL and explain why he shouldn’t go back to jail. A date for the hearing has not been set. His contact with another convicted felon the night of his drug arrest could also be a probation violation, officials said.

Lakers /Celtics: 1 Game For ALL The Marbles!

http://frankthetank.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/larry-bird-and-magic-johnson.jpg

Tonight  Celtics and Lakers will square off in their First Game 7 since 1984 tonight in Staples Center. The Celtics have pretty much Dominated the Lakers in their head to head matchups. The Celtics lead the Lakers 9-2 in Head to Head. The Celtics Franchise also leads The Lakers franchise in Titles 17-15. The Celtics will take the floor tonight without their Center and best inside defensive interior player Kendrick Perkins who tore his knee in game 6.  I predicted the Lakers in 7 from the start I’m staying with that pick even though as a Lakers fan i am very nervous

MY WORD VS YOURS If Kobe Bryant wins his 5th Lakers championship  coupled with now being the All Time Scoring leader in Lakers History he will not only in my mind be in talks for 1 of the 3 best Lakers ever but he will be in talks for one of the top 3 Players in the History Of  The NBA

Woody Harrelson Free Of Paparazzi Assault Charges.

Woody Harrelson said he was defending himself when he chased a paparazzi who was following him.

Court records show a lawsuit filed by a former TMZ photographer who accused Woody Harrelson of attacking him has been dismissed.

Filings in Los Angeles Superior Court state Harrelson and the photographer, Josh Levine, reached a settlement earlier this month. The details of the settlement were not included in court records.

The case had been scheduled to go to trial in early May.

Levine sued Harrelson in June 2008, alleging the Academy Award nominated actor broke his video camera, choked him and ordered his bodyguard to attack the photographer during an incident in Hollywood in 2006.

Harrelson countersued for invasion of privacy and records show that case has also been dismissed.

WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT: Maxine Waters.

Waters

Congresswoman Maxine Waters is considered by many to be one of the most powerful women in politics today. Her work has earned her the reputation of being an outspoken advocate for women, children, people of color and the poor.

Born on August 15, 1938, in St. Louis to Remus and Velma Lee Carr Moore, Waters was one of thirteen children. In 1961, she moved to Los Angeles, where she found work in a garment factory and as a telephone operator. In 1966, Waters was hired as an assistant teacher with the newly formed Head Start program in Watts. Waters decided to attend college while working at Head Start, and in 1970 earned a sociology degree from California State University in Los Angeles.

Waters became the voice for frustrated Head Start parents. Her efforts encouraged these parents to make federal budget requests, to contact legislators and agencies for increased funding, and to lobby for Head Start components tailored to their community. Waters’ concern for parents’ rights led her to become involved in local politics, and in 1973 she went to work as chief deputy to City Councilman David Cunningham.

In 1976, Waters quit her job and successfully ran for election to the California State Assembly. During her tenure in the State Assembly, Waters authored numerous pieces of legislation, including a law requiring state agencies to award a percentage of public contracts to minorities and women; tenants’ rights laws; a law restricting police efforts to use strip searches; and the largest divestment of state pension funds from businesses involved in South Africa.

After serving for fourteen years in the California State Assembly, in 1990 Waters successfully ran for a seat in the 29th Congressional District of California. In 1992, Waters ran in the much larger 35th District, representing South Central Los Angeles, Inglewood, Gardena and Hawthorne, and won 83 percent of the vote. Waters continues to represent the 35th District and has been active on a number of issues, including affirmative action, community development, women’s health and welfare reform.

Waters focused attention on the plight of inner-city communities as well as the allegations of CIA involvement in Contra cocaine drug trafficking in South Central Los Angeles in the mid-1980s.

Waters lives in Los Angeles and is married to Sidney Williams, former U.S. ambassador to the Bahamas. They have two adult children, Karen and Edward.

He ended up liking one of the beats so much that he asked his manager to get one of the kids’ e-mail addresses.”

Was Corey Haim’s Death Linked To An Illegal Drug Ring?

Corey Haim's Death Linked to 'Massive' Illegal Prescription-Drug Ring

Was a crime involved in Corey Haim‘s death? That’s what authorities are suggesting. An “unauthorized” prescription in his name was found during an investigation into an “illegal and massive prescription-drug ring,” according to the California Attorney General’s Office. “Corey Haim’s death is yet another tragedy linked to the growing problem of prescription-drug abuse,” Attorney General Edmund G.Brown Jr . said. “It’s a serious public health problem.”

The alleged drug ring orders prescription pads from vendors using stolen doctor identities, the AG’s office says. The pads are then either sold on the street to addicts or to people who are paid to fill the prescription and then sell the drugs on the underground market, authorities say, adding that the doctor whose name is printed on the form is usually unaware that his or her identity has been stolen.

Haim dies at age 38 after collapsing in his mother’s Los Angeles apartment Wednesday. The L.A. Coroner has confirmed that four prescription pill bottles in Haim’s name were recovered from the scene. The official cause of death hasn’t been determined pending toxicology tests, although Haim’s mother was told her son suffered from pulmonary congestion.
