Lawrence Taylor Indicted For Rape.

Lawrence Taylor was indicted by a suburban New York grand jury on charges of third-degree rape and patronizing a prostitute. The indictment followed his May 6 arrest at a Holiday Inn in Ramapo, N.Y., where prosecutors said he paid a 16-year-old girl $300 to have sex with him. Taylor had been charged previously in Ramapo Town Court, but the indictment transferred the case to Rockland County. He was scheduled to appear July 13.

Taylor also was indicted on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, and sexual abuse and criminal sexual act in the third degree. He faces up to four years in prison. He has denied the charges. Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Zugibe said the 16-year-old told investigators she had been verbally threatened and physically assaulted by a pimp who drove her 26 miles north of Manhattan to the hotel where Taylor was waiting.

Joran van der Sloot Accuses Cops Of Misconduct.

Joran van der Sloot has filed a complaint of misconduct against Peruvian police officials, claiming he was wrongfully arrested and not given a translator when he was questioned for the murder of Stephany Flores, according to local reports. In the complaint, the Dutch national, 22, says his June 3 arrest in Chile was executed without a proper warrant. He also claims he was confused during the interrogation because authorities did not provide an official translator, sus-derechos” El Comercio reports. “All this with the intention of pressuring me to accuse me of homicide,” he said, according to a document obtained by Peruvian news program 24 Hours. Van der Sloot recently retracted his confession, telling a Dutch newspaper he was “very scared and confused during the interrogations.”  During the prison cell interview, he claims he only admitted to killing Flores, a business student, because police intimidated him and promised he would be transferred back to the Netherlands. According to police, Flores was murdered on May 30 – five years to the day U.S. teen Natalee Holloway disappeared in Aruba. Van der Sloot was arrested twice but never charged in that case.

Slim Thug Clarifying His Statements On Black Women.

Slim Thug is still addressing the furor of the fall-out he suffered two weeks ago, when he made some pretty disparaging comments about black women. He claims his words were taken out of context. I don’t doubt it. We live in a media driven age where a camera is always in your face & a mic is at your lips; therefore, you need to be EXTRA mindful of what you say. Mariah Carey Is A DEADBEAT!

Word on the Blok is that our BELOVED Mimi, ‘scuse me, Mariah Carey is a DEADBEAT- Dog owner that is.  Carey is accused of paying only $8,231.50 to Cindy Bressler (celebrity vet) for services performed between last Oct. 31 and Dec. 2.  She still owes $29,559, according to court papers filed Manhattan Supreme Court. Total owed: $30,000. The documents do not specify the nature of the “extraordinary services.” A spokeswoman for Carey and a lawyer for the doggie doc did not return calls Wednesday.

Kim Kardashian’s NEW Beau … Miles Austin.

After her split from football star Reggie Bush earlier this year, Kim Kardashian was in no rush to find love again as she focused on her career. Then love found her.  After briefly being linked to Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Rinaldo, Kardashian is going out with another football player, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin. “They met at a restaurant in L.A. a few months ago and exchanged numbers and have been talking ever since,” says a source of the couple. “They’ve had a few dates and it’s going really well.”  While the pair are officially dating, “he’s not quite her boyfriend,” the source says. “They’re taking it slow. She thinks he’s a really good guy. He’s really sweet to her. … He thinks Kim is his dream girl.”  Before Kardashian, 29, met Austin, she had been trying to live the single life, but the source says, “They just really connected.”
