Multi-talented beauty Tyra Banks has been attending Harvard Business School since last year. Her inspiration for enrolling in the Ivy League school? Her female followers. “In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best,” Banks, told CBS News.
Banks is enrolled in the Harvard Owner/President Management Program which allows busy entrepreneurs to spend just three weeks on campus a year for three years, and pay around $31,000 in annual tuition. “It’s pretty exclusive,” Banks said. “It’s quite expensive. But, I feel like it is worth it. I feel like it is so, so worth it,” she added.
The former Victoria’s Secret model turned media-mogul is no stranger to success, of course. Her hit-show, “America’s Next Top Model,” is on its 16th season and in 2009, Forbes listed Banks as the highest paid woman in prime time, with an annual income of $30 million. But, Banks’ education has always been a personal concern ever since she left Los Angeles’ Loyola Marymount University to pursue her modeling career. “The day I put college on hold because I got discovered … was one of the most difficult decisions of my entire life,” she said.
Still, Banks admits some are skeptical about her Ivy League education. “I get mixed reactions. There are little facial expressions … The chin goes back, like, ‘Really?'” Banks added. But, being underestimated has yet to stop the mogul. Stay tuned next week for Banks to unveil a new addition to her media empire: TypeF.com, a beauty and fashion advice website.

Foxy Brown was escorted out of a fashion show party in NYC Wednesday night … TMZ has learned — after the female rapper allegedly showed up intoxicated … long after she was scheduled to perform. Sources at Red Bull Space in Soho — which hosted the after party for Indashio‘s fashion show — tell TMZ, Foxy showed up at 1:20AM … ten minutes before the entire party was supposed to shut down.
We’re told everyone was already on their way out when Foxy came in — and decided to lock herself in a bathroom … and refuse to come out. According to sources, security was called … and Foxy was physically removed from the building. Foxy’s rep had no comment.

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a mobile tanning company that claims they bronzed the actress up from 2007 to 2009 … but she stiffed them on the $40k bill. Lorit Simon claims Lohan hired her Nevada-based company, Tanning Vegas — and the job required interstate travel when Lohan was craving a color change. In the lawsuit filed last week in Nevada, Simon claims Lohan racked up $41,031.60 in unpaid charges — and even now, she refuses to settle her debt. Simon wants Lohan to fork over the money — plus attorney’s fees and interest. Simon has sued Lindsay before — accusing the actress of stealing her secret formula for a spray tanning product and selling it under her own Sevin Nyne label.
