There was an attempt to assassinate Lil Wayne in Jacksonville, Florida. Several young ladies approached “Weezy” asking if they may sexually accommodate him. Declining their advances several times, one of Wayne’s constituents asked the ladies very disrespectfully to remove themselves from Wayne’s presence. The ladies complied and left Wayne at his leisure. As his tour bus left the venue, the bus driver alerted Wayne that they were being followed. Once they got a closer look they realized it was the same ladies from earlier in the evening riding alongside the tour bus. With seconds shots were fired, no one was hurt, and the assailants drove off into the night.
Okay, I had to hold my laugh in for the entire time I was reporting this. Not that I disbelieve it, but because it’s so crazy! For 1, if you record a song expressing your desire to f*ck every girl in the world, you gotta know that’s an invitation for some strange bedfellows. #2, you’re Li’l Wayne, in today’s economy tricks are trying to get their bills paid. They’re doing dudes with less than half of Less than what you have. And #3, They shot at your ass for allowing your “boy” to be disrespectful. Those are paying customers who are not gonna remember dude being disrespectful as much as YOU letting him be disrespectful! So, if they were trying to screw you for dough, really, they’re just trying to get their money back.
