Richard Stephen Shaw -aka- Bushwick Bill was in an Atlanta Immigration Court this week facing deportation to his native country of Jamaica. The Geto Boys’ rapper was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Our buddies at allhiphop.com are reporting that Bushwick was arrested and charged with a crime but the nature of the charges that prompted the deportation hearing have not yet been disclosed.
Guess that would explain his absence from the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors. His legal issues kept him from the tribute to Houston’s Rap-A-Lot CEO, J Prince.
